■ Reactor Coil Model R500
| AMETEK Reactor Coil Heat Exchangers—made with tubing of fl uoropolymer fl uorocarbon resin—are used for heating and cooling of corrosive fl uids in a wide range of processes and applications. The well-known non-stick characteristics of fl uoropolymer resist corrosion and reduce fouling. AMETEK Reactor Coils are designed for immersion directly into the process vessel, and are most effi cient when agitated in the process solution. During agitation, the fl exing action of the coils helps reduce fouling and dislodges deposits that may have formed. This and other unique design features make the Model R500 Reactor Coil ideal for crystallizer applications. |

■ Supercoil Models 100, 168, 280 FEP and Q-Series
| FEATURES AMETEK Supercoil Heat Exchangers are high effi ciency immersion coils designed for heating and cooling a wide range of metal fi nishing solutions. Applications include: electroplating, electroforming and electroless plating baths; acidic and alkaline solutions for etching, chemical milling, anodizing, cleaning, stripping, electropolishing and other similar operations. The well-known non-stick characteristics of fl uoropolymer resins resist corrosion and fouling, and its high electrical resistance minimizes the effects of stray currents in electroplating tanks. Supercoils are available in FEP as well as in proprietary Q-Series tubing formulations. Q-Series coils are made using a special fl uorocarbon compound that signifi cantly improves thermal effi ciency and increases temperature and pressure capabilities. Q-Series Supercoils are ideal for most metal fi nishing operations, particularly those involving electroless nickel and copper plating. |
